Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is known for his distinctive style of rappers. Baker was born the 22nd of April, 1990, in Houston Texas U.S. into an extended family that was of English Scottish and German descent. Both of his parents are missionaries. In his early years the Bakers traveled extensively together. His dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployment and his mom Sonia Alane left them when the age of nine. Baker along with his father moved to Denver, where they lived at the house of his dad's aunt. Baker was a target of bullying because he lived in poverty by other children. As he entered the sixth grade, Baker was able to learn the art of rap. Colson Kelly Baker was born on 22 April 1990 in Texas America. His music is a fusion of modern, alternative hip-hop along with rock. Baker released four mixtapes prior to signing with Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. The Cleveland rapper who delivered songs at the speed that of a fast bullet saw an explosive growth when 2011 was the year he made the switch from self-released mixes to reputable label. His career took off immediately, and all of his records making the top 10 of charts.
