Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay fighter. She is currently a fighter in the UFC Flyweight division. She's older than her fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport began as an Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title before being defeated by Suzane Mller in a unanimous decision. Antonina later won the Silver Medal in 2007 and a Bronze Medal in 2008, a Golden medal in 2011, in the IFMA 2016 Amateure Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia's professional journey began in 2003. In 2012, she took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship, in 2016, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, she won the WMC World Championships. Antonina's last fight was in the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. The victory was a unanimous one. Antonina Schevchenko set professional MMA records in 2002 when she took on Anara Bazanova during the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan. She went 3-0, after winning the second-round TKO. The next two bouts were won by WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko stopped her involvement in MMA in order to concentrate on the sport of kickboxing. She made her comeback to fight Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa in a unanimously-decided match, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. The league was dissolved in the year 2018, Shevchenko enrolled into Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina utilized her strike skills and striking skills to TKO Nievera in the clinch by knees on the body. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded a UFC contract after the victory. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC in the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting match against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi with an unanimous decision. It was the best fight of the night in that bout. Shevchenko won her first three fights but then lost the fights to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina suffered a loss to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO during UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
